MasterClass is an online service offers more than 100 “master classes” with famous experts. Thanks to a gift from my daughter, I got to take sessions on writing by Neil Gaiman, Dan Brown, and James Patterson. MasterClass also has lessons on the same subject from Malcolm Gladwell, Amy Tan, Walter Mosley, Roxane Gay, David Sedaris, and others. It costs $180 for a year’s subscription, much less than college tuition.
